[MW:10447] Weld build up of SA 105 Flanges Reg.,

Dear All,

 

We have twenty nos of SA 105 Weld Neck Flanges of 100 NB with 95 mm bore.8,5 mm wall thickness.Normalised.

 

We need Bore of 85 mm. 

 

So it is decided to go for weld deposition inside the flange to reduce the bore. Now i need your advise regarding heat treatment requirement after build up. 

 

Whether PWHT alone is sufficient or any other Heat treatment is advised.

 

Equipemtn construction as per ASME Sec VIII Div 1.
