[MW:10289] hydrogen baking

We have a fixed-tube-sheet heat exchanger,re-tubing job being
executed,the job required cutting of tube-sheet to shell joint ,now
while re-welding the shell joint,is it mandatory to carry hydrogen
bake-out??

the shell side stream is a reactor effluent ,the reactor is in
hydrogen service,

shell side;
op.temp/press.- 106degC/26kg
tube side;cooling water

MOC;SA516Gr70

shell thick; 22mm
