Sir,
We procure some SA 105 forging flanges in which UT has been carried out for 20" ASA 150# flange SORFas per SA 388
But for 4" 600# WNRF UT is not carried out why is it so?
in SA 105 nothing is mentioned
also extra requirement is also not given by design
is UT is mandatory for all forgings?
As per SA 388 UT shall be done above 50 mm thk
but which thk is to be considered tf or y in case of WNRF
