Repair rates - Industry survey

Dear Marcello Consonni,

TWI is often approached by professionals from various industry sectors with generic questions such as:

- What is the typical repair rate for this product or industry sector?

- What is the extent of welding processes used for this product?

Answers to these questions could prove very useful when evaluating potential welding contractors, to benchmark your company against industry practice or to obtain information on new strategic sectors or products. However, such information is difficult to find in the public domain, therefore TWI are launching an industry survey to collect up-to-date information on repair rates, to be disseminated via our website and our various publications.

We would be grateful if you could fill in the on-line questionnaire we have prepared, by Friday 8 March 2011. The following link leads you directly to the start of the questionnaire:

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/SPD6269

In addition to completing the survey, we would appreciate if you could provide summary charts or trends regarding repair rates in your company (contact email below).

This questionnaire will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. All the information and any documentation provided by the participants will be treated anonymously and confidentially and will only be used for the purpose of this survey.

The final results will be shared with all participants who complete the survey.

Thank you in advance for your participation!

Best regards,
Marcello Consonni
