for calibration you have to follow standard calibration of instruments
- temperature / pressure measurement generally u can follow ASTM.

second it is a general engineering practice . where you want to use
this ? only for electrodes . what is the manufacturer's
recommendations? b they say 350 degree for 1 hour / 250 degrees for 2
hours. what will be the instrument for measuring temp digital and
analogue . so =/- 2 deg not beyond control and acceptable to any body
even you can go for =/-5 degree too.

If you use vacuum baked electrodes then no need for baking / holding
ovens.
