Krishna, Manganese max limit as per ASME SA516Gr.60 is 0.90% for Heat Analysis and 0.98% for Product Analaysis. But Note (B) of Table 1 Chemical Requirements states that for each reduction of 0.01% carbon below its specified limit(0.21%), Managenes can be increased to 0.06% above its max limit upto 1.5% for Heat and 1.6% for Product analysis. So please check your carbon percentage in the MTC. Also check the carbon equivalent in your specification and if it meets the requirement, Managense increase may not affect your properties like Hardenability,Hardness and Weldability.
