RE: [MW:9763] sea water filter

First:
I assume you for any code that was relevant made a fittness for service assessment (FFS) as per API RP 579.
You may have carried out the repairs according with ASME PPC-2, Repair of Pressure Equipment and Piping (?)

These two standards /recommended practice have certain requirements.

Then there may be some local regulations - in our country (within EU) we have a special regulation covering repair and modification of pressure equipment. The repair or modification need to be verified by an accredited inspection body and follow the assessments of PED (Directive 97/23/EC), module G. In our country the accreditation is made by the "Working Environment Authority"
The verification by the inspection body need to be done before the equipment is approved for re-use.

Outside Europe the picture may be a bit different.

regards
Kristian
