If Impact test is required, what would be the range?

Assuming your PWHT is just stress relieving and no impact required, the range will be 5-50mm

Hi There,

Welding Code: ASME IX

Construction Code: ASME B31.3

Question: On PQR, test coupon was 25WT pipe and subject to PWHT. What would be the thickness range on WPS as per code above.

Thanks in advance,

Larry Zarate
