I didn’t understood your question fully but I assume that you are asking if Procedure Qualifications and Welder Qualifications of a certain company can be used by another company as well because welding machine is not an issue.

 

Welder qualifications are related to the welder so they can weld for any company if they following a qualified WPS of that company and working under the responsibility of that companies QA/QC department.

 

Welding Procedure Qualifications are related to the company, so only the company who did execute the qualification may use this for his own organization. Sometimes inspection authorities also accepted the use by third parties when they are executing the work under the responsibility of the company qualifying the WPS.

 

More and more the calibration of welding equipment becomes an issue in international  specifications, by doing such you can guarantee that the welding equipment delivers the same values as required by WPS and it is not a problem anymore to use another welding machines.

 In welder qualification and new  process establisment  as per sec ix  . weld consumabels ,test coupons &weldrs are our only using the welding m/c from the subsuplliers place is it valid for qualification .since the welding machine is not  variabel
