[MW:9732] WQT ON SS

According to ASME sec IX, change in P-number and F-number is an essential variable for welding performance qualification. QW-423 said that when a base metal with P- or S-No 1 through P- or S-No. 11, etc is used for welder qualification, the welder is qualified to weld all combinations of base metal with P- or S-No 1 thru P- or S-No 11 etc.
I have welders who are qualified on GTAW process using a P1 materials of course with F6 consumable, are these welders qualified to weld an Austenitic Stainless Steel (P8 material) with stainless steel consumable which is still under F6 with argon as the backing gas.
