We are making equal tee for pressure piping as per following details
Specification :- ASME Sec II Part A - SA 234 WPB welded
Size :- 16" NB 8 mm thick
Dimensions as per B16.9
My question is whether we can fabricate this fitting by welding
16" pipe as branch weld and certify to SA 234 WPB Welded, insted of
fabricating by pressing or forming. All heat treatment & NDE
requirements will be fulfilled as per specification.
Please give your views on this.
