This picture is shown in AWS WELDING INSPECTION  BOOK WRITTEN
 
 
Depends upon my experience this picture is as per theortical wise ok but as per ASME B31.3, AWS D1.1 SHOWN & WRITTEN CLEARLY 
 
FILLET WELD SIZE SHOULD BE THE HIGH THICKNESS OF FITTINGS MULTIPLY BY 0.7 YOU CAN GET THE FILLET WELD SIZE 
 
WE CAN MEASURE BY GAUGE GAL FILLET GAUGE or CAMBRIDGE

AS per AWS.I knw tat for fillet weld sizes we have to refer Table 5.8.

My doubt is they given as weld size.

weld size refer to throat or leg length? which one tat refers?
