RE: [MW:9173] Difference between Certificate of compliance and Certificate of conformance

Dear Sir,

In terms of Sect.VIII, Div.1:

Certificate of compliance (U-3 form) is being issued for pressure vessels to be stamped with UM symbol.

Certificate of conformance refers to the manufacturing or assembling of pressure relief valves UV (UV-1 form) or of nonreclosing pressure relief devices UD (UD-1 form).
