[MW:9194] RE: 9188] Regarding GTAW Welding Machine

Dear sir,

There are two options for your applications.

1.       Buy a 200 Amps Invertor Based welding machine. For 6 mm plate, current requirement will be about 120- 150 Amp. Therefore it should be suitable for you. However there is one more factor which you should consider and that is the duty cycle. In case your requirement is continuous welding, the second alternative is :

2.       Go for a 400 Amps TIG welding machine. It will be suitable for your present application as well as higher thickness which you may come across in future.

We are going to weld 4 mm / 6 mm stainless steel plate.Filler wire dia is 2.4 mm and tungsten electrode dia is 1.6 mm.

 

for welding machine what should be the output current range and maximum continuous current at 100% duty cycle. please suggest me which welding machine is best for this application .

 

we are manufacturing this product in india.
