Re: [MW:8658] Thickness calculation for weldolet

Hi

There is no calculation required, What I understood is that u want to prepare a PQR b/w weldolet and pipe, thcikness of weldolet is 21mm.
ist please specify pipe thickness, assuming it to be same as weldolet, Please refer to QW-451 to find thickness limits for Base and weld metal, if impact testing is required:-

Follow QW-403.6 for lower limits and QW-451 for higher limits
if not, follow QW-451 for lower and higher limits.

if weldolet and pipe thicknesses are different, please revert me with quantitative data.

more information would be required to give further explanation.
