Dear Members, We are using MIG welding for carbon steel. We would like to weld aluminum(min 6mm to max 10 mm) with the same process. Is it required to change liner and wire feed rollers? What type of shielding gas to be used? What are the precautions to be taken during welding? What type of defects we can encounter? Which process is best SMAW or GMAW? Please advice in this regard. thanks and regards, Suresh -- To post to this group, send email to materials-welding@googlegroups.comTo unsubscribe from this group, send email to materials-welding+ unsubscribe@googlegroups.comFor more options, visit this group's bolg at http://materials-welding.blogspot.com/The views expressed/exchnaged in this group are members personel views and meant for educational purposes only, Users must take their own decisions w.r.t. applicable code/standard/contract documents.
