Greetings.
for a vessel to be fabricated as per ASME SEC VIII DIV 1.
Shell material - SA 387 GR 12 CL2 80 THK,
AS PER UCS 56 Soaking time for PWHT for this thickness is 195 minutes.
vessel required simulation cycles( 3 cycles) PWHT.
AS per the test certificates the heat treatment simulation cycles for test coupon was done for 504 minutes only.
Pls inform me whether the Test certificate/results can be accepted as the soaking hours are less than the requirement.
