[MW:8528] Re: RT/UT OF SOCKET WELD/BRANCH WELD

dear all,

for my understanding of rt with socket welds especially in high temp
service is to ensure that the gap is there so the material is allowed
in termal expansions to avoid pushing the fillet weld during in
service condition.
