[MW:8516] 2"pipe repair..... Partial

Dear All,

   Here I have a doubt regarding 2”pipe welding . While  work with 2” pipe, if repair comes and founded in Rt. What we have to do as per ASME SEC VIII Div.1. I found one company is doing partial repair and taking Partial RT. Whether it is correct? I couldn’t conclude with this. Please suggest a good answer.
