As per SEc II part A,
PWHT for T11 :650 C
PWHT for T91:730-800 C
If the same situation is met in other materials, I was wondering how to find out the final heat treatment temperature and how to bridge the gap of heat treatment requirement between the two different materials.
Would taking out an approximate average of the requirements suffice?

Gr11 to Gr91 being discimilar jointPWHT temperature of 745C is high for Gr11 material and you may land up with not meeting the Physical properties . Using equivalent consumables for Gr 11 material (B2 Type) you may require to reduce the PWHT temp to 700C and accordingly qualify the PQRRegardsHegde P.B.09714714803

Subject: [MW:8171] Welding of Gr.11 material with Gr. 91 material.
Dear all,
I have a doubt in welding of Gr.11 material with Gr. 91 material.
The details are as follow:
Joint Type: Fillet weld
Material; SA 213 Gr. T91 with SA 213 Gr. T11
Process: GTAW & Also in SMAW
Consumable: For GTAW: ER 80S-B2 & for SMAW : E8018-B2
Preheating: 200°C
PWHT: 745° ± 15°C
In this welding, Whether there will be any metallurgical problem. If so what is the alternate for it.
