i)what is the joint configuration of t/tsht joint
ii) Do you require to weld with filler with two passes or use with single pass using fusion of tube metal
iii) Is it with manual weld or machine weld
iv) It is always preffered to use pulsed tig with inverter base welding m/c where you can control with lower voltage
v) Imprtant aspect is of shielding by argon gas of weld metal with trailing facilty/integral hood fixture connected to torch head /using bigger size shielding cup to avoid overheating of surrounding of weld including of base
vi) Current used for 0.8 mm tube size is about 90-100 A 10-12 V with Gas flow of 15-20LPM
ou need to qualify the mock up having weld with out oxidation

Subject: [MW:8115] Regarding Titanium welding
Dear All,
I have already post this question to you all, again I am making a remainder. I am in need of a sample WPS and PQR for Titanium welding . Consider the tube material SB 338 and grade 2 and the tube sheet is SB 265. I want to weld seal welding (tube to tubesheet) in GTAW process. Please if anyone have it please forward , it will be very much useful to me. Thanks .
Regards,
