[MW:8157] Corrosion of Aluminum on Urea Environment

Dear All

Can Experts please through some light on corrosion of Aluminum Alloy Material (AA 5052, H34 Tempered) on
a Urea Environment.

This Alloy have used in Melamine Warehouse Gutter but due to the presence of Urea Environment, we found some cluster holes(through and through) which has damaged the whole Gutter. Pls refer to Attached Pictures.
As a Corrective Measure, we are going to do Water Proof on whole Gutter Surface.

1. I would like to know whether this is due to Corrosive Environment or Material is not suitable for such Environment.
2. Do presence of moisture+Urea+Al Alloy can couse any Reaction?

Regards
VPV
