[MW:8005] RE: 7988] Flame Jet Cutting for Seamless pipes

Mr. Wajeed,
 
Carbon steel can be safely cut by flame cutting. However my understanding is that flame jet cutting is high velocity cutting process which will aid cutting thicker pipe sections.You may check the manufacturer's information.
 
You may have grind off at least 1/8"from the kerf to get rid of the serrations and and any HAZ formed during cutting.
