Re: [MW:7691] DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PIPE AND TUBE

Dear Pravez

Basically Pipe is using for fluid transfer and tube is using for heat transfer.

Pipe selected based on NB(Nominal bore) & SCH(Schedule).

Tube selected based on OD(Outer diameter).

In tube we got lots of thickness, what we required?

In Pipe there is standard schedule so the thickness for different Pipe NB is standard.

Thanking You.
