Hello Jaspal,

Thank you for your response.  I wanted to clarify that we are currently planning on normalizing the plates, air quenching (high flow rate cooling fans) and subsequently tempering at 730°C. 

My question is where in the ASME specifications does it define the quenching parameters (flow rate, ambient temperature, water temperature, humidity, etc) for quench from normalization for SA387 plate.  Again, we will temper after the plates are quenched.

(depending on the alloy composition)prior to tempering (if
specified).
