You can, But why do you want to use E6010 for fillet?

Fillet welds when made with E6010 usually have a relatively flat weld face and have a rather coarse, unevenly spaced ripple.

Dear All

Good Day.

I have WPS which was qualified using E6010 for Root pass and rest welding with E7018  for P1 Material of thickness 10mm.

Please inform me whether I can use above WPS for welding fillet weld  of 10 mm for P1( SA 36)  material using E6010 Electrode.

Thanks in advance for your valuable suggestions.

Best Regards

Asad Azmi
