[MW:7825] RE: 7816] Re: is there any method by which we can strat RT BY REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM ?

October 26, 2010

Dear Aslam,

Yes there is a remote control switch for X ray generator for some models especially the portable ones.

You need really to have a very good shielding aside from enclosing the area for a safe radial distance during X Ray operation. The best shielding is if you are able to have a chamber designed to enclose the area for the intened KVp or gamma source that you plan to use.

Thanks.

Dear Aslam khan,

You can do RT with X ray machine which have the system of safe
elapsing time. You canadjust the paramerers and switch on the
machine .The exposure will on after a pre set time of few minutes and
during that time the RT technician can be at a safe distance.

Thanks and regards,
