[MW:7369] Interpass temperature during PQR

Dear All,

Design code - ASME B31.3
Welding Code - ASME SEC IX
Client Spec Says - Interpass temperature to be monitored and measured during welding.

During PQR I observed that run out length of one electrode was around 75-100 mm.So the welder couldn't complete the joint in a single stretch. In this condition, should I take the interpass temperature before using the second electrode from the first bead end?

More over, the welder can complete the root pass by using three electrodes/filler wire.In this condition should I measure and record three interpass temperatures?ie, first temperature, ambient(starting),second temperature ,during starting of second electrode,Third temperature  during staring of third elecrode.

Or one temperature is enough just before starting hot pass?

Regards,
