CPT is temperature at which pitting corrosion start to form.Estblishment to CPT is very importan.CPT for as welded condition is 35deg C for SDSS. Below 35deg cent pitting will not initiate.For materials in Solution annealed condition CPT is 40 Deg cent.

Testing temperature of 50deg centigrade is stringent condition.
