RE: [MW:6924] Butt Welding on I and H Section

Dear Mr. Vijay,
 
Beams can be butt welded provided the cut (or you may call the weld alignment) should be at an angle to the axial direction to distribute the stress on the beam. Presently I couldn't find references but I'm searching for it, will post as soon as I find or maybe other group members can.
