Dear Mr. Hedge,

I assume that they mean the delta ferrite skeleton in weld connections
of Austenitic Stainless Steels. You need a minimum of 2 - 6 % Delta
Ferrite in order to avoid hot cracks. By way of the ferrite skeleton
in the weld metal you can show that this is present (continue skeleton
instead of a under broken skeleton). I hope you understand what I
meant because I don't now exactly how to put this in English.

Best Regards,

Herman Pieper
