Dear All,
Construction code - ASME B31.3
Client welding specification says nothing about SCC test on weld. But their pipe material specification says SCC test based on ASTM G38, G39 or ISO 15156-3.
In this case should I conduct SCC test on weldment.
If yes,Here which standard I have to select? My doubt is that, I have to select ASTM G38, ASTM G39/ISO 15156-3 OR NACE TM 0177?
Is there any clause in ISO 15156-3 that the SCC shall be as per NACE TM 0177?
Normal case what is the acceptance criteria for this test?
Should I insist consumable manufacturer to conduct SCC test as per our following standard instead of what they are following?
Thanks in advance
Regards,
Limesh
