One of my Client is asking for the following frequency of chemical
chips from the weld overlay area.
I need your help for the interpretation
The frequency of chemical composition analysis shall be as follows:
Automatic Welding: One analysis for each overlay area or clad joint.
Separate analysis shall be made for each heat/batch of filler metal or
electrode.
Manual Welding: One analysis for each 1m sq. of area or one analysis
at intervals of 2m or less for overlay restoration of clad joints.
At least & in addition to above, 1% for shell courses & nozzles
shall be examined
I under stand the first two points , what is the meaning of Last
Requirement?
