Re: [MW:6443] Alternative Electrode Req for Overlay

Dear Senthil,

Being glad to contact you, i am herewith suggesting you to go with the Hardfacing electrode which will conform to DIN-8555 E10-UM-65-GRZ. Since we are dealing Bohler
welding Group electrodes [Bohler (Austria), UTP(Germany)], the recommended brand
for your specification is UTP LEDURIT 65.

Moreover, if you give some more details about the application (like Industry type/Equipment /Working medium/Wear type/Impact or Temperature involved, Static or Dynamic ), it will be always better to select the suitable hardfacing electrode. As you know well, the selection of Hardfacing electrodes will depend on many factors.

Anyhow, i have attached the catalogue of UTP Brand electrode for your evaluation. Definitely it will give very good results in wear resistance/service life compared to Lincoln's Gridur 65.

If you tell your job location, i will inform you from where you can get the above said.

Thanks and Regards,
