Re: [MW:6414] Welder Performance Qualification

  1. Take them through essential variables for WPS and for WQT as defined in ASME Sec. IX. Where new procedure is required and where they have to re-qualify.
  2. Discuss AWS applicable specifications of welding consumables for carbon steels, SS and other materials being used at your site.
  3. Problems encountered during welding of SS, Duplex & Super Duplex SS. This would make your training interactive and more effective.

Hi Sir,

I'm QC from fabrication company. But I need to give training to my staff and welder about the Welder Performance Qualification. Base material usually carbon steel, SS, Duplex and Super Duplex. Anybody can help me what the most important point about WQT to give them training? what should I focus on WQT to give them the training?

Thank you so much.
