[MW:6125] Testing on live pipe

Dear All,
We are requested to carry out chemical composition testing on a live
pipeline in LNG to check on the Ceq. Looking at the dry method and wet
method for the testing, its look like not possible to shave a little
portion nor to drill on the live pipe for testing. PMI are proposed but PMI
will creat spark which will contribute risk if to carry out on the live
pipe.
Can anyone advice on other method (to consider on the effectiveness and
safety) which i can proceed to check on the Ceq on the live pipe?

Thanks
