I have heard about Austemperd Ducticle Cast iron druing Indian instiute of Metals conference at KGF near bangalore. There was some research going on its application for earth moving equipments. You can get more details about in Google search and one Prof. by Dr. Dwarakadasa of IISc, bangalore was working on it.
