I would like to know the following aspect.
In IS 2062 Gr.B, the impact test is applicable from 12 mm and above thk. What about DNV Gr.A?

For your information, there are some aspects to the DNV grade A , you should be aware of;
1) The steel work from which the steel comes should be certified by DNV
2) The steel manufacturer shall be recognized for producing Grade A by DNV.
3) In the type approval process the impact value is normally tested, so that the impact value is garanted, without it being necessary to test it on each batch.
