RE: [MW:5151] PQR tests for tube to tube-sheet strenght weld joint - ASME sez.VIII div.1

When a weld meets the requirements of UW20.4, it is a full strength weld and does not require qualification by shear load testing. You can use a normal groove weld PQR and state on WPS joint configuration as shown in fig UW 20.1.

However Tube to tube sheet strength weld mock up qualification may required if called in contract specifications, in this case you may have to qualify PQR as per QW193

according to ASME sez.VIII div.1, which tests are required to perform in PQR for a tube to tube-sheet strenght weld joint? in particular tear test is required?
(please give me the reference of para of ASME sez.VIII div.1) material involved is Carbon Steel: A350 (tube-sheet) and A334 (tube) welding process is GTAW machine thickness involved: 70 mm (tube-sheet) and 2.77 mm (tube) Thank in advance Fede Lau
