Dear Pankaj
Air Receivers are not normally painted or coated internally for two main
reasons:
1- Air is not corrosive even in harsh environment and the moist accumulated
in humid areas is drained periodically not to build up inside the vessel.
2- If internally coated the coat may get pilled off and carried into
instrument and cause their malfunction.

Dear all
I am having a vessel of CS i want to give corrosion resistant coating from
inside  any body will tell me the procedure such as paint, powder,or by
electro plating method.The vessel is of  Air reciver vessel constructed as
per ASME. The coating to be done from inside to avoid corrosion.

The size of vessel is  Dia-1100, Length-2400 mm.
MOC- SA516 GR. 70
