Can anyone guide me how does the Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) works ?
We have one of the fixed roof tanks with Floating Hyrocarbons inside and due to sparks generated from the CP at the roof due to some wrong installation during the shutdown or some wire cut issue the tangible joint at the roof to top shell got ruptured causing a big fire.
We would like to remove this type of CP and install a normal conventional one. Will it cause any issue ?
