ESSC overlay analysis
You have to take in to account following important points
I) Type of metallurgy viz SS various grades , Inconel various grades overlayed on CS, Type of LAs
II) Design / service condition like Its working pressure, Temp. Processing media
III) Anticipated Corrosion and its rate
IV) On the basis of that generally Types of Corrosion test carried out Viz, IGC practice E, Practice C, Practice B
V) On the basis of working temperature you have to decide Hydrogen Disbonding test at various Pressure, Temperature, Cooling rate
VI) This all test results depends upon Welding parameter, dilution, chemistry at various level effect of flux ,
VII) You may rfer various spec like , UOP, Technip, EIL, Chaveron from which you can get some idea about all these tests
