[MW:4828] Re: PWHT of Hydrotesting vents in Sour gas service

Dear Suresh,
As per ASME B 31.3 Para 311.2.6 - Seal welds may be used only to
prevent leakage of threaded joints and shall not be considered as
contributing any strength to the joints.
You can raise the technical quary.
