Not required when item is subjected to PWHT/PFHT below the lower transformation temperature of steel.

We would like to have clarification on the requirement on the simulation test coupon under following cases

 

1.       When vessel is under PWHT, plates, pipes, flanges require simulation test coupon 

 

No

 

2.       Simulation test coupon is applicable only for normalising plus PWHT. ( UCS 85 requirements confusing)
