I have a client who wants to prepare a WPS on Aluminium Welding (6g)
position. The code that he wants to refer is "ASME Sec IX". All the
previous WPS done for Aluminium welding was based on AWS D1.2. Please
help me whether we can qualify a WPS with Sec IX, if yes please help
with the welding data based on ASME Sec IX for Aluminium Welding.
