[MW:3627] Re: After completion of hydrotest need to do vacuum box?

As per API 650 it is not required but if there is a requirement from client than you have do the vacuum box after hydrotesting. We are doing the same thing for our halul Project under Qatar Petroleum

Now I want to know that after completion of  hydrotest  is there necessary to do vacuum box on the bottom plate?

If yes, please advice me with code reference.

Thanks in advance,

I agreed with Bharat ,Generally it is best practice ,we have to go for vaccume box leak test after hydro for ONLY bottom to shell .
