[MW:3261] Re: Regaring Painting work.

Dear Jivan,

Paint manufacturer will not guarantee that work for sure, I suggest you make all necesary tests, considering  the service of the facility ( Pull off, Chemical attack, etc etc) and based on those tests make a desicion.

Dear Friends

I would like to know one queries answer that is our subcontractor is assigned job of sand blasting and painting and they had used local thinner (not recommoded by Manufacturer), which type of thinner used dont know,  Manufacturer of thinner dont know , test certificates of thinner is also not available, they dont have sample of thinner to test it to laboratory as all thinner had been used in painting job. It was discussed with paint manufacturer but they are not accepting the gauranty of paint as compatability of the thinner with their paint will give satisfactory result.

In this scenerio what is to be done to accept the painting work carried our by subcontractor.

Please advice me to take necessary step .

Regards,

Jivan Dhamane
