[MW:3229] RE: 3227] Re: wps for ss to ltcs

Austenitic weld metal having C max 0.1% for MDMT colder than -101 °C, and C > 0.1% for MDMT colder than -48 °C with consumables used from SFA 5.4, 5.9  are exempted from CVN impact.

As per ASME

1)  if material to be used in production has same Pno & group no,then  yes you can use..

2)  if the P no is same & not group no then you have to qualify the supplimentory procedure for impact & use both the PQR for making the WPS
