[MW:2698] New PQR for 7018 or 7016 if using 7018-1?

I'm a little unclear of the AWS D1.1 code. If I have already run a
PQR with E7018-1, do I need to run a new PQR if I intend to use E7018
or E7016 in the same joint?

No need to run a new PQR if youare using E7016/E7018.all under same AWS classification

Hi,  You are correct, Minimum refers to the one cycle for which this part will expose until final work shop PWHT. hence mill test certificate shall include this.  Max. SPWHT, refers to additional cycles of heat treatment that are reserved for future repairs during equipment lifetime.  Again, these simulated no. Introduction The colour formed when stainless steel is heated, either in a furnace application or in the heat affected zone of welds, is dependent on several factors that are related to the oxidation resistance of the steel.
