Because of the higher manganese and carbon content, a modest preheat is
required. High restraint would dictate a higher preheat. Typically
welded with any carbon steel filler but should be welded with low
hydrogen electrodes if using SMAW (AWS E7015, E7016, E7018). Material
is similar in properties to ASTM-A516 Grade 70.
